Mrs Victoria Pwol has a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from the prestigious University of Lagos in 2011, B.Sc Education(Chemistry) and Diploma in Science Education from the University of Maiduguri in 1992 and 1989 respectively. She started her career in Taraba State as a teacher, transferred to Taraba Environmental Protection Agency as Scientific Officer and joined Federal Environmental Protection Agency in 1999 as Environmental Scientist. She worked in Lagos Zonal Office, Department of Pollution Control and Environmental Health, under the Divisions of Chemical and Hazardous Wastes Management. She has attended various trainings, workshops and conferences both at the national and international levels on environment and related issues. She rose to the rank of Deputy Director in 2019 and was posted to the Department of Climate Change. She is currently the Head, Greenhouse Gas Inventory Division. She is married with children.
