Climate change is undermining #financialinclusion for the poor and even threatening to reverse the progress we made over the last decade!
Urgent action is needed to stop backsliding on financial inclusion, including supporting inclusive financial institutions with more robust climate risk management and solutions to shoulder climate risks – such as through credit guarantees or first-loss capital- and by helping them develop and expand lending in new ways that support their clients’ climate adaptation and resilience.
