Japan International Cooperation Agency – JICA

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is advancing its activities around the pillars of a field-oriented approach, human security, and enhanced effectiveness, efficiency, and speed.
A variety of organizations and groups, including governments as well as international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and private companies, carry out financial assistance to
developing countries for socioeconomic development. ODA, is defined by the Official Development Assistance.
ODA is broadly divided into bilateral aid, where assistance is given directly to developing countries, and multilateral aid, which is provided through international organizations. JICA provides bilateral aid in the form of Technical Cooperation, Japanese ODA Loans & Grant Aid.| JICA | ODA

About Climate Change NG

Nigeria has since 1992, given prominence to handling of climate change issues through the establishment of the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (FEPA) in 1988.
